Our Librarian and Careers Teams have teamed up for a creative new project that’s helping students build confidence in their skills - even before they have formal work experience!
Students considered the lives of famous literary characters and imagined how they would write a CV. What would Sherlock Holmes highlight? How would Monkey D Luffy present his strengths? What skills does DogMan have to offer?
This fun and insightful activity helped students identify their own transferable skills and experiences - perfect for crafting compelling CVs
The winning entries from Owen, Lola and Ananthus showed real imagination and humour - a former pirate as an Assistant Librarian would be amazing!
The students were presented with their prizes from local author Karen Greaves, who kindly signed copies of her own books as part of the prize.
