On Wednesday 5th July 2023, we held our annual Careers Fair for all our students. We invited over 28 employers and training providers to attend.

Brompton Academy has been successful in applying for a Local School Nature Grant to support the Gardening Club.

The Academy’s Assembly Hall was filled with laughter and excitement for the Summer Showcase!

The English Department invited Year 10 and Year 11 students to watch an adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, performed by Box Clever Theatre Company.

This term, the Year 9 Bronze Award students embarked on their practice and assessed expeditions.

The Parliament and School Council have been working hard this term to ensure students voices are being heard.

The Career Hub has had a very busy term celebrating Careers Week, National Science Week, and International Women’s Day.

Brompton Academy Associates are a small team of super friendly volunteers, dedicated to raising valuable funds for the sole benefit of Brompton Academy students.

Gillingham Football Club came along to the Academy with a handful of their Academy players, who are studying a Level 3 BTEC qualification. 30 girls, from Year 7 and Year 8, took part in an exciting five-a-side football tournament!

January saw the first of our monthly Career Business Networking Breakfast before school.

On Thursday 12th January 2023, 16 students from Year 7 and Year 8, participated in the Secondary School Games (SSG) Sports Hall Athletics competition at The Howard School, Rainham.

Teachers have already noticed how this experience has given many students a new confidence and an incentive to focus on careers related to the curriculum.

The University of Kent Academies Trust are seeking to recruit two new Governors to join the Brompton Academy Local Governing Board (BA LGB).

Our Mini Schools never cease to amaze us with some fun, educational, action packed events such as the very latest and enjoyable whole school Multicultural Day.

22 Year 10 BTEC Sport students travelled to Aberdovey in Wales to complete an adventurous activity, at The Outward Bound Trust.

It was a show stopping event when 11 students from our Eliot Centre competed in our annual talent show.

We have recently launched our Recycled Uniform Project which aims to offer parents/carers the chance to purchase clean, good quality recycled uniform at reduced prices.
