UK MATHS TRUST SUCCESS

Brompton Academy students, in Year 11, are celebrating some exceptional results from their recent UK Maths Trust Intermediate Maths Challenge (UKMT). The students worked hard with a positive mindset and showed resilience and teamwork. We have achieved the best results so far, and this has boosted our students confidence and given them a great sense of achievement. We are pleased to announce that the Academy achieved two gold, three silver, and four bronze medals! Aaron, who achieved the best in school score, and Emmanuel, who achieved gold medals, will be proceeding to the next stage, alongside other students across the UK.

This has been a memorable moment for Brompton Academy and the Mathematics Department. The UKMT encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought, and fluency to make students think by providing enrichment opportunities beyond the regular curriculum. All the students who took part in the challenge are achieving at least a grade 7-9 at GCSE level. Taking these challenges throughout the year has had a big impact on their excellent grades. Once again, congratulations to Aaron, Emmanuel, Divine, Shreyan, Jack, Timi, Daniel, Aliks and Lewis for continuing to demonstrate one of our REACH points, RESILIENCE . Brompton Academy is super proud of you! For further information on UKMT, please visit the following link: https://ukmt.org.uk/
