About Us

A very warm welcome to Brompton Academy a highly oversubscribed secondary school serving the local community of Medway.

I am incredibly proud to be the Principal of this fantastic school and part of a devoted and passionate team of professionals who are dedicated to ‘Transforming Lives Through Learning’.

To enable our students to be happy and successful learners, we aim to create a caring, supportive, and aspirational learning environment. Central to this are our REACH values, based on the statue that stands proudly in front of the Academy. REACH stands for Resilience, Equality, Aspiration, Community and Happiness and are the building blocks of what we strive for students to represent at Brompton Academy. Students are rewarded for demonstrating these values and they take pride showing them in the school community.

We believe that setting high expectations is central to the success of our students, not just academically but as individuals who are empowered to achieve future success in their lives. Our extensive careers programme which is built into lessons and complimented by regular events gives students the skills and knowledge they need to plan for and achieve the future they want.

At Brompton Academy we offer a broad and balanced curriculum that is designed to meet the needs of today’s students and prepare them to thrive amidst the challenges and opportunities of tomorrows world. Our curriculum is designed to be knowledge rich and inspire students to develop an understanding of leadership, have purpose and build a sense of belonging. The creative use of learning technologies, through a one-to-one iPad scheme and high-quality teaching provide the foundations of great learning in each classroom. Our extensive extra-curricular offer provides ample opportunity to explore their interests and talents in a wide range of areas giving students a real opportunity to enjoy their time at Brompton Academy.

‘Transforming Lives Through Learning’ is our guiding principle and in striving to achieving it we recognise the importance of developing partnerships between families and school to create a positive learning environment for your children.
