The Keynes Mini School is named after the Economist John Maynard Keynes who Time magazine describe as one of the 100 most important people in the 20th Century. The Keynes Mini School contains around 200 young people who we believe are the most important people of the 21st Century. We strive to develop the potential in all our students to exceed expectations and liveby our Latin phrase Nil Satis Nisi Optimum – “nothing but the best is good enough”.

Students graduate into Keynes in Year 9 through their option choices and we find that some students will have a passion for History, others hold an interest for the realm of Health & Social Care or perhaps the Public Services.  Many students enjoy our Construction offer or are interested in learning about the way that society works and interested in studying Sociology - the study of society and how we interact and live in the 21st century. The diversity of courses is wide and ensures that doors remain open into our Phase Three and beyond.

Above all, the Keynes Mini School is a family in which each and every student is cared for in all aspects of academic and pastoral care by myself, the Head of Mini School,  Pastoral Manager, Learning Coach our team of Personal Tutors.
